It’s been said that if Republicans can nix just 20 percent of support from the black community in America, Democrats would never win another election.
At present, polling data is showing that 15 percent of latinos have a positive opinion about President Donald Trump right now — and it’s trending upward. We don’t need to tell you that this is very bad news for the Democratic Party if things continue to go in this direction.
It’s not surprising that the Democrats are losing support with the minority communities they once had near universal support from in general elections. The fact is that their engagement with these communities is blatantly racist on its face. Whenever hispanics are mentioned, the conversation almost inevitably drifts towards immigration.
News flash, Democrats: latinos care about all those other issues too. And considering that unemployment rolls for hispanic Americans — as well as black Americans — stand at historic lows as a direct result of Trump’s economic policies, Republicans have a very positive pitch for this demographic.
Of course, this development contradicts the entire narrative being pushed by Trump’s Democratic rivals as well as their foaming at the mouth supporters in the mainstream media. But, they can scream “racist!” until they are blue in the face — it’s not going to change the fact that there has never been a better time to be a racial minority in the United States.
Here’s Tim Pool to break down the data.
