The White House no longer permits designs with religious themes for the Easter egg art event.
The “Celebrating National Guard Families” art event will not accept Easter egg drawings with religious themes from youngsters in the National Guard.
The White House holds an art competition to commemorate Easter in addition to the annual Easter Egg Roll. An Easter egg design entry “must not feature any dubious content, religious symbols, blatantly religious themes, or partisan political remarks,” according to a contest flier.
“For almost 50 years, America’s egg farmers have proudly sent the First Lady of the United States an elaborately decorated commemorative Easter egg as part of the White House Easter traditions. The brochure states, “The White House continued its long-standing tradition in 2021 by showcasing youth-designed Easter eggs at the White House East Colonnade. The National Guard’s adjutant general is requesting artwork from young people from National Guard families across the country and in all of its territories, with the subject “Celebrating our Military Families,” in honor of First Lady Jill Biden.
Children decorate eggs with images from their personal experiences. The advertising claims that “talented egg artists from throughout the country will bring to life on actual hen eggs some drawings portraying the unique experiences and tales of National Guard children and showcase them at the White House this Easter and Passover season.”
Furthermore, kids cannot use materials that support “bigotry, racism, hostility, or damage against any group or individual or promote discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, handicap, sexual orientation, or age” in school settings.
A few selected designs that the kids paint on real eggs will be on display at the White House.

Note how transgender or transexual content was not blocked, in keeping with this White House’s agenda, strangely any religious context for an Easter celebration was removed, what that says about the clearly religious holiday, I wonder what they will do for Christmas or Hanukkah, salute the Nazi flag day?
