Joe Biden might not be on Ohio’s presidential ballot, Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose told the state’s Democratic Party last week. This was because the Democrats would miss a vital deadline for certifying their nominee. The deadline for certifying Biden’s nomination in order for him to appear on the Ohio ballot is August 7, while the Democratic National Convention takes place on August 19.
LaRose gave the Democrats two options: either change the date of the convention or convince the Ohio legislature to extend the deadline.
Recently, Alabama has seen the emergence of a comparable issue has recently emerged in Alabama. Wes Allen, the Republican secretary of the state of Alabama, informed the state Democratic Party in writing that the Democrats needed to provide the state with a “certificate of nomination” by August 15th at the latest. Biden may not be on Alabama’s ballot either because the previously mentioned national convention takes place on August 19.
Allen stated in the correspondence, “Recently, I learned that the DNC will convene on August 19, 2024, in accordance with the State of Alabama’s statutory deadline of August 15, 2024, for political parties to submit a certificate of nomination for the President and Vice President.” “The head of the state executive committee of the political party making the nomination, as well as the presiding officer and secretary of the convention, must sign the certificate of nomination.
The Biden team gave off the impression that this was not a big deal.
The campaign declared, “Joe Biden will be on the ballot in all 50 states.” “Before the end of presidential nominating conventions, state officials possess the authority to award certification for provisional ballot access. States like Alabama, Illinois, Montana, and Washington permitted provisional certification for Republican and Democratic nominees in 2020 alone.
This “provisional ballot access” is contingent upon the actions of the state legislatures in Alabama and Ohio.
According to provisions 17-13-22 and 17-14-31(a) of the Code of Alabama, Allen stated, “There will be no certification and no presence on the Alabama general election ballot if those certificates are not in my office on time. Through this correspondence, we are giving the state and national Democratic Party leadership sufficient notice that they are required by law to furnish such certificates by the specified time.
How adorable is that?
Millions of Democratic voters will be eligible to vote despite the actions of the Alabama Republicans. Or do they not? There is a great desire to be tough on this matter. Given Trump’s legal issues and the preponderance of Republicans in the Alabama legislature (78-28 in the House and 27-8 in the Senate), Biden’s ballot access becomes an attractive target for retaliation.
Aside from that, they are only doing what the law says in Ohio and Alabama. That is what Democrats argue about Trump’s candidacy, is that not right?

Look at Nasty Nancy Piglosi, been caught several times of insider trading, making millions on investments, but did anything happen? Hell No. Had Mr. Trump done this, or an Republican Senator, there would of been impeachments, ethics investigations and a whole slew of witch hunts ect.
So what these democrats do, and the corruption that goes on with the democrats is disgusting and like you said, our elected Republican politicians are spineless and unwilling to stand up for all of us that voted them in office and to stand for our Constitution and protect our Rights.
