Why President Joe Biden is losing support from voters—black males in particular—has been a conundrum for Democratic strategist James Carville. Some have taken exception to the conclusion he drew over the weekend.
Looking at Biden’s popularity numbers, the 79-year-old partisan told opinion journalist Maureen Dowd in a Saturday New York Times interview, “It is like walking in on your granny nude.” The picture will not leave your head.”
Biden’s job approval rating is 40%, and his disapproval rating is 55%, according to the most recent Gallup survey. The elderly Democrat’s disapproval rating was one point higher in the Rasmussen Reports survey and two points higher in the Economist/YouGov poll.
Both nationally and in a number of swing states, including Arizona, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan, the former president Donald Trump seems to have an advantage against Biden.
Carville, who oversaw Bill Clinton’s first presidential campaign and coached Hillary Clinton, a failed candidate, has reportedly been “obsessed with Biden hemorrhaging Black male voters,” according to Dowd.
Black voters’ advantage against Biden, which was 62 points four years ago, is now only 21 points this month, according to CNN elections expert Harry Enten.
Enten stated, “We have been witnessing this erosion in support for Joe Biden among people of color in Michigan and nationwide as well, where he is having some serious difficulties.” “Among voters of color, support for a Democratic presidential candidate is at an all-time low right now. And it appears to be occurring everywhere.”
With a comment to Dowd that suggested “there are too many preachy ladies” running the show inside the Democratic Party, Carville seemed to have narrowed down at least one explanation for the decline in support.
“Avoid drinking beer. Avoid watching football. Steer clear of hamburgers. “This is not healthy for you,” Carville went on. “The message, ‘Everything you do is harming the earth,’ is very feminine. You must consume your legumes.”
“If you listen to Democratic elites—I always turn to NPR for that—they speak about how women, especially women of color, will win this election,” Carville said. “I say to myself, ‘Well, men make up 48% of voters. Would it be okay if they gave it some thought?
Along with the left’s elite “faculty lounge” attitudes and “woke things,” the strategist said that all of the “feminine” browbeating, micromanagement, and alarmism are contributing to alienating voters.
According to Carville, “many on the left would prefer to lose and remain pure because it makes them feel good, it makes them feel superior.”
Carville is obviously interested in Democrats winning in November, even if he freely acknowledges that Biden lacks Trump’s vigor and intelligence. However, not everyone on the left agreed with his constructive critique.
Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a Democrat from New York, tweeted, “Perhaps he needs to create a podcast about it. I have heard that there is a severe lack of male presence there.”
Carville “is beyond joke,” according to the presenter of MSNBC’s recently canceled “The Mehdi Hasan program,” who previously compared non-Muslims to “cattle.”
“Starting to see some of the Boomer and Gen X guys who professed to be progressive show themselves as sexists when women really reach power,” tweeted Shannon Watts, the founder of the gun-grab organization Moms Demand Action.
In response to Carville, Deborah Jenkins, a recent addition to Democratic Governor Kathy Hochul’s new reparations panel, wrote, “Wow, why do not you tell us how you really feel?”
The longshot Democratic opponent of Joe Biden, Marianne Williamson, tweeted, “The problem is not that there are too many ‘preachy women’ in that arena; the problem is that they are merely repeating what males have previously stated.” Williamson recently “unsuspend[ed]” her campaign.
Biden and Democrats doesn’t care about who lives or dies all they care about is their champagne and money why vote for them they don’t care about Americans. They will do for their illegal immigrants before American People.
