The odd practice of people publicizing their preferred pronouns has its roots in the recent fast spread of extreme leftist gender ideology. Elon Musk, a multibillionaire business magnate, has called the pronoun issue “virtue-signaling” and said that terrible individuals use it as a “shield.”
“As with all virtue-signaling, pronouns will inevitably be exploited as a shield by evil humans because they are virtue-signaling,” Musk wrote in a tweet. “In any case, when referring to someone, you should use their name, not their pronoun.”
Apparently using pronouns on his Instagram profile, the defendant in a child pornography case just recently committed suicide. Musk made the remarks in reaction to tweets concerning the guy.
According to New Haven police chief Karl Jacobson, a person who was a suspect in a child pornography probe committed suicide last week. Tim Yergeau committed himself only a few days after investigators wrongly searched his neighbor’s home as part of a child pornography investigation. According to a media source, the police chief would not clarify whether Yergeau was a suspect in the case. Jacobson, according to the Hartford Courant, verified that Yergeau was the target of the raid involving child pornography. An internal affairs investigation will look at how both searches were conducted and if the raid on Yergeau’s residence may have had an influence on his choice to commit suicide, according to an article in The Courant by Jacobson.
Yergeau used “he/him/his” pronouns on his profile on Instagram, and he previously worked for Planned Parenthood in Southern New England.
Recent tweets from Elon Musk include the following: “Any parent as well as a doctor that sterilizes a child prior to the time they become a consenting adult ought to be imprisoned for life.”
In reaction to Musk’s article, Chloe Cole said, “The physicians were supposed to know better but my parents had been deceived and pressured into getting me surgery and hormonal substances by a group of specialists. Would you prefer having a dead daughter or a living son? was asked of them. They trusted medical experts more than they ought to have since it was years before this argument began and before there was anything like covid. There is a difference between parents who are transacting their children for social influence and parents who are well-intentioned but deceived.
Cole received Elon Musk’s support, stating, “Well said.”
