This benefits Republican candidates because that is their primary emphasis.
According to a new Harvard-Harris survey, people believe Democrats are focused on Jan. 6, women’s rights, and climate change – none of which rank among Americans’ top priorities in this race. In the face of all of the economic woes, Democrats are focusing their efforts on this, in addition to being very divisive and demonizing the GOP. They’re more concerned with climate change than with fixing our energy issues, which, ironically, they caused as a result of their concern with climate change.
Andrea Mitchell interviewed House Speaker Nancy Pelosi on MSNBC, and after she basically kissed her feet and claimed that she, Pelosi, and Pres. Biden had done so much for Americans, she inquired about voters’ worries about inflation and growing crime.
Pelosi maintains that the New York Times poll on top issues is a “outlier” poll and that she disagrees with its findings. “I reject that,” Pelosi said. She claimed to have visited several states and assured Mitchell that “women’s fears about their independence” were still very much a problem.
Women worry about eating and being able to put food on the table for their families, and they are well aware that Pelosi and the Dems are making it difficult for them to do so. That’s why Democrats do not want to speak about how significant those issues are right now—and why Pelosi denies they are. But she rejects it, which is an insult to the American people. Why would Americans want to vote for the Democrats if the Speaker of the House says this? Denying their concerns?
Pelosi went on to say that Biden’s creation of millions of jobs contributed to inflation. This would be hilarious if this ignorance/lie/spin wasn’t so completely incorrect on every level. No, Biden did not generate any employment; individuals returned to work after the pandemic, which is not the same as producing jobs.
But, in any case, it was overspending by the Dems who were in control that generated inflation. If they were concerned about Americans rather than their own agenda, they would have taken the warnings about inflationary spending more seriously, but they didn’t.
Consider Pelosi’s privileged perspective. Most likely, she is not feeling the effects of inflation, and she has no trouble purchasing her fancy ice cream. However, not everyone has been able to profit from the government teet as she has during the billion years she has been in power.
It’s typical of Dems like Biden and Pelosi to reject the facts and ignore the American people. But, no matter how much they reject it, reality exists, and in November, Americans will turn up and tell Democrats exactly what’s important to them. Republicans should play what Pelosi said over and again in advertising to illustrate how the Democrats don’t care how much they damage Americans.
At her age and with her alcoholism she could go any minute – tick tock Nancy.
Doesn’t it just turn your stomach to listen these pathetic interviewers who prostrate themselves before Pelosi’s feet and make you want to gag over their stupidity on how great she and this poor thief and liar, Biden, are doing for all of us!!! Are they really that dumb or is it a way to prove Pelosi loves her face on the news and will come out with such obviously, and easily disproved garbage???
