Republican Infuriates Liberals With This Trump-Abortion Connection

Representative Elise Stefanik (R-NY) paid tribute to the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s significant Dobbs ruling by recognizing former President Trump’s pro-life activism and outlining upcoming federal pro-life actions from Congress.

Stefanik told Breitbart News, “I believe when it pertains to the Supreme Court nominating candidates, President Trump was by far the most pro-life president we have ever had,” prior to appearing at a celebration event this week held by the national pro-life organization Susan B. Anthony (SBA) List.

Stefanik continued, “And thank heavens for his great nominations to the Supreme Court. The fact that so many pro-life leaders are standing forward and running for office in the Republican Party makes me really pleased.”

Stefanik, the head of the House Republican Conference and a member of leadership, initially supported Trump for reelection. This week, she reaffirmed her support for his candidacy on social media, writing, “We must keep strengthening the culture of everyday life in America primarily by electing President Trump in 2024!”

SBA List praised the former president even though it hasn’t made an endorsement in the crowded GOP contest.

“Without a doubt,” SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser stated to Breitbart News, “He’s the greatest pro-life president we have ever had. We hope the past serves as a guide. We are merely awaiting word of his intentions.”

Neil Gorsuch, Brett Kavanaugh, and Amy Coney Barrett, three conservative justices who voted with the majority of the Supreme Court in a 5-4 decision to overturn Roe one year ago, were selected by Trump when he was president.

A number of ardently pro-life challengers have joined the former president in the primary, and they are all being questioned by the Republican party’s base about how to advance the pro-life cause in the post-Roe era. The former president gained support from middle America as well as evangelical voters in particular during his 2016 rise partially through advocating a pro-life position.

The heartbeat measure, which Florida Governor Ron DeSantis signed into law this year and forbids the majority of abortions after six weeks of pregnancy, has been backed by Trump’s leading rival. When Trump responded to his opponent in an interview with the Messenger by asserting that some pro-lifers find the ban to be “too harsh,” heads turned.

In his discussion of federal pro-life initiatives at the SBA List event, Stefanik noted that while Democrats have recently targeted the Hyde Amendment, which forbids government funding for the vast majority of abortions, House Republicans are going to use their slim majority to defend the amendment during the upcoming appropriations process.

  1. President Trump loves life and he was the first president to attend the sacred March to honor life.
Presently, women have all of the tools necessary to prevent a pregnancy. There are no accidents or no unwanted children. As a woman, if I was actively trying to keep from getting pregnant and then I became pregnant (except in the rare case of rape or incest) I would think that this child was meant to be on the earth. But even in those exceptions we have many friends who were unplanned, mother was raped and kept him, etc., They are beautiful people blessing the earth.

If you believe in the removal of any of the stages of the pre born life I no longer vote for that candidate. Attacking the least vulnerable, removing and selling their body parts, leads to other genocides and destructive protocols. (Elderly lockdowns)

    1. Hear Hear, Naomi – I think you meant to say “MOST vulnerable” in your last sentence though 😉
Keep the Faith – God Almighty is still aware of our EVERY move ALL the Time.
