Recently, prominent members of the House Republicans asked that Attorney General Merrick Garland disclose if the Justice Department looked into whistleblowers from the Biden family.
The Department of Justice (DOJ) investigation is a continuation of the House impeachment investigation of President Joe Biden and his family members, who were involved in the Biden enterprise.
“The Committees will not put up with the Department taking punitive action against these or any other whistleblowers.” Chairs of the Ways and Means Committee (R-MO), the Judiciary Committee (R-OH), and the Oversight Committee (R-KY) wrote to Garland this week
“Inside federal agencies, whistleblowers are crucial in locating and eliminating waste, fraud, abuse, poor management, and corruption. Whistleblowers are secure from reprisals under federal law. The Department’s and other organizations’ attempts to look into whistleblowers’ legal disclosures raise grave questions about the federal government’s ongoing weaponization. Mr. Shapley and Mr. Ziegler have provided Congress with protected disclosures, therefore, all attempts to threaten or take revenge against them must end.”
Regarding the Biden administration and the Biden family company, two IRS whistleblowers revealed politically damaging information.
Lesley Wolf, an assistant US attorney, forbade investigators from questioning Joe Biden about his status as “the big man” claimed that on two occasions, the DOJ prevented U.S. Attorney David Weiss from pursuing more serious charges against Hunter. Garland did not name the purported special counsel for the tax investigation. Garland denied the IRS’s proposed charges against Hunter.
Hunter Biden’s lawyers allegedly pressed the DOJ to pursue IRS whistleblowers following the revelations to Congress. The committee decided in June to release many reports of purported political meddling when the DOJ “thwarted, impeded, or interfered” with Hunter’s IRS tax probe.
In November 2022, the House started its investigation against the Bidens. Investigators discovered a vast network of wire transfers, 20 shell corporations, and allies during the investigation that enabled the Biden family firm to earn at least $24 million from foreign nationals over a roughly five-year period.
They also disclosed that James and Hunter Biden gave money to Joe Biden. They also revealed that nine other family members, including two of Joe Biden’s grandkids, had received funds from the Bidens’ overseas business endeavors.
Joe Biden has been corrupt from his first day in the Senate.
