VP Kamala Harris is visiting Arizona to advocate for the murdering of unborn children in response to a landmark decision by the state Supreme Court to preserve an 1864 statute that forbids almost all abortions.
According to the Arizona Republic, the Biden-Harris reelection campaign said that Kamala Harris will be in Tucson on Friday for an event that will center around “reproductive freedom” in the wake of the judgment.
Harris is making her way back to Arizona following her appearance in Phoenix at the beginning of March as part of her pro-abortion tour around the country in advance of the November presidential election. Throughout the trip, Harris denounced the 2022 passage of Arizona’s prior 15-week abortion restriction and referred to pro-life activists as “extremists.”
In the upcoming presidential election, Arizona is considered a swing state. According to the analysis, Trump lost the state to Harris and President Joe Biden in 2020 by a margin of less than 0.5 percentage points. As a result, the White House has expanded its presence in Arizona. Since the beginning of March, numerous additional campaign surrogates, along with the president, vice president, and both of their spouses, have visited Arizona.
A woman cannot get an abortion unless it is necessary to preserve her own life. Abortionists face a two- to five-year prison sentence under the 1864 legislation. The December arguments in the case of Planned Parenthood of Arizona v. Mayes/Hazerigg asked justices to rule on whether Arizona’s 15-week abortion limit supersedes the previous statute.
The court decided on Tuesday, 4–2, with one recusal, that the 1864 statute is “enforceable” beyond the more recent 15-week term, even though it did not rule on the validity of the 1864 legislation.
Justice John Lopez wrote the majority judgment, saying, “We analyze whether the Arizona Legislature abolished or otherwise limited [the previous law] by establishing… the legislation proscribing physicians from doing elective abortions after fifteen weeks’ gestation.” The justices’ morality or opinions on abortion-related public policy are not at issue in this case, nor is the legality of the previous statute, which is not at issue. Rather, the focus is on statutory interpretation.
There is no federal or state legislation that forbids the application of the 1864 statute in the absence of the federal constitutional abortion right or the fact that the fifteen-week restriction does not itself permit abortion. As a result, Lopez said, “[The 1864 statute] is now enforceable.”
In the end, the Arizona Supreme Court upheld a lower court’s ruling lifting an injunction against the nearly complete prohibition, but it also placed a 14-day hold on the law’s full implementation so that parties could choose how to proceed. The state’s top court also remanded the case to the trial court to consider any further constitutional arguments.
The ruling by the state high court coincides with pro-choice advocates advancing a proposed amendment that would grant Arizonans the constitutional right to abortion.
Arizona for Abortion Access, an alliance consisting of the ACLU of Arizona, Affirm Sexual and Planned Parenthood Advocates of Arizona, announced last week that they had gathered over 500,000 signatures, surpassing the required number of 383,923 signatures for the proposed amendment to be eligible for the ballot in November. If the abortion initiative were to be on the November ballot, a simple majority would be required.
Arizona is among the almost twelve states where pro-abortion advocates are striving to legalize the termination of an unborn child’s life.

Why can’t we make it easier to adopt? I have friends who adopted one child from China and another from Mexico because they couldn’t adopt in the USA (they were in their early 40’s). It cost them tens of thousands of dollars. Not everyone can do this. Of course we need serious vetting, but we need more adoptions here.

Nothing else matters to these sick humans than being able to murder an innocent human being before and even AFTER it has taken it’s first breath. They should change the symbol of Democrats to a bloody severed head held by a masked surgeon, somewhat familiar to a washed up no-talent comedian and Trumps head. JMO
Biden and Harris are dangerous radicals who pander to the extreme left. Both have done more harm to America than anyone could have imagined. When women say hands off my body do they consider the baby they are killing?
Do they believe they will not be held accountable? Would they have been here if their mother had had an abortion?
