The proposed immigration deal by Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and James Lankford is a clear betrayal of American sovereignty and the rule of law. This deal, which would allow up to 35,000 illegal aliens to flood into our country every week before any form of border control is enforced, is nothing short of a disaster. It’s a slap in the face to every law-abiding American citizen and legal immigrant who respects and follows our immigration laws.
The idea of permitting 5,000 illegal entries per day over a seven-day period, amounting to 150,000 a month, before the Department of Homeland Security is obliged to act, is ludicrous. It’s a complete surrender of our border security and a green light for illegal immigration. The fact that this deal would also maintain Biden’s expansive catch and release network only adds insult to injury. Essentially, it would legalize Biden’s disastrous open-border policies that have already led to an unprecedented crisis at our southern border.
This deal also undermines the public health authority used effectively by President Trump under Title 42, which was crucial in stemming illegal immigration. Instead of upholding and strengthening this policy, Schumer and Lankford’s deal would dilute it, rendering it ineffective.
House Speaker Mike Johnson’s opposition to this deal, along with several Senate Republicans, is commendable and necessary. It’s shocking and deeply disappointing that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is reportedly lobbying Republicans to support this atrocious deal. Republicans like Marsha Blackburn, J.D. Vance, Ted Cruz, and Josh Hawley are rightly opposing a deal that essentially aims to “make illegal immigration legal.”
As Americans, we cannot stand by and watch as our elected leaders dismantle our nation’s sovereignty and security. This deal is a clear indication that some in Washington are more interested in political gamesmanship and catering to special interests than in protecting American citizens and upholding our laws.
It’s high time for the American people to hold these politicians accountable and demand that our immigration laws be respected and enforced. We need leaders who will put America and Americans first, not those who capitulate to the demands of those who wish to exploit our generosity and openness. The security and future of our nation are at stake, and we must fight to preserve the integrity of our borders and our immigration system.
No one should come into this country unless they come in legally I understand that we can make it a little easier to become a US citizen but we need to keep English our language and we should not be using any taxpayers funds for anything that supports illegal immigration

So, under this deal, any country in the world could send 150,000 troops across the border month, dressed as civilians and that’s perfectly fine. Of course, that’s not counting the 10 they don’t record, for every one they do count, which would be 1.5 million a month. Of course, this is exactly what’s happening at the moment.
