The enormous number of illegal immigrants who have crossed the border is causing concern, according to the head of the US Border Patrol. According to Jason Owens, in the previous five months alone, at least 140,000 migrants have entered the border without authorization.
This fiscal year, the Border Patrol will detain one million migrants between ports of entry along the border between the United States and Mexico. Additionally, the Border Patrol is on track to apprehend two million illegal immigrants by October 1, for the third year in a row.
Although that figure is high, Owens stated, “The 140,000 known got-aways are what keep me up at night.” Most likely, “got-aways” are traffickers or smugglers. It is also possible that they are terrorists. Chief Owens has ample cause to consider that late at night.
“Why are they endangering their lives by crossing in places that are inaccessible to us?” Owens inquired. “What makes them hide?” What are they trying to conceal? What do they introduce? What do they want to achieve? From where do they originate? We are merely unaware of the responses to those queries. To us, such items stand in for the danger to our community.”
Owens went on, calling it a “national security danger.”

“Owens stated that the majority of migrants turning themselves in to Border Patrol officials is a means of escaping poverty or danger in their native countries, even though a “very tiny number” of individuals caught at the southern border are severe criminals, such as gang members with convictions or sexual offenders. He stated, “They are crossing because they are either economic migrants seeking a better way of life or they are fleeing awful situations.” According to data from Customs and Border Protection (CBP), very few of the migrants who are processed by the Border Patrol have criminal histories in the United States or other nations that provide information to American authorities, and even fewer have been found guilty of violent crimes. Studies and data that are currently available indicate that illegal immigrants do not commit crimes at a greater rate than Americans who were born here.”
To try to stop illegal immigration and keep undesirables out, Owens argued for stricter immigration laws.
“I am referring to incarceration. Because you opted to enter the country illegally rather than via the official legal channels that we established for you, I am talking about being expelled from the nation and being prohibited from ever returning,” he said.
In fact, rather than slipping across the border in the dark of night, migrants now have a few different routes to choose from, thanks to Biden. All they need to do is enter through one of the authorized ports located along the southern border.

Exactly, what I have been asking for years now. What hold does he have that allows him to destroy us like he is doing. There has to be a way. A president is supposed to protect and do what he was elected to do not all this crap of making his own laws as he goes and not go by country laws. This is not right and everyone but the Democrats go by laws. It has to stop, no one, but no one could broken so very many laws and gotten away with it. Impeach this horrible person now!

I have to agree with Jim what in the heck are they waiting for. The GOP must have enough evidence on Biden by now. Stop playing this good old boys bull shit. If you Rhinos dont do this it’s time for you to go as well. We the people are damn tired of everyone of you congressmen not doing your job. Biden should have been impeached in his first year in office. He broke every promise he swore to do when he took the oath of office. That in itself should have been enough to impeach him.
Not to mention the open border. I know darn well that you congressmen are smart enough to know that our country can not support 8 or 10 million more people. And yet you let him get away with it. While I agree with what the previous comments have said, if Joe Biden is impeached and convicted, Kamala Harris would then be President. That would be jumping out of the frying pan, into the fire.
Impeach Harris she was appointed to be in charge of the border.
It would be far faster and easier to pass a law that all the recent immigrants, to prove that they understand the law, have to vote for the Republican candidates in their first elections. Then we go from there!
