Left-wing Democrats Push Elizabeth Warren for Treasury Secretary

Progressives, sure that their chosen candidate will win the presidency, have already begun pushing their chosen candidates for top-level posts.

A number of far-left activists are now calling for former Vice President Joe Biden to appoint Senator Elizabeth Warren as Secretary of the Treasury, setting up a battle with moderates in the party who want to choose a centrist candidate for the post.

“There’s a huge gap between Sen. Warren and any other likely candidate,” progressive activist Larry Cohen told Yahoo News. “She, first of all, understands finance capital and second of all is prepared to wrangle with it. Some of the other candidates I’ve heard about are not prepared to wrangle with it.”

The Biden-Harris campaign has so far managed to avoid a public brawl by stating that the former VP and his running mate aren’t making personnel decisions before the election. However, the date is soon approaching, and Biden will have two warring factions of the party eager to influence what his administration looks like.

If Sen. Warren does get the nod for Treasury Secretary, it’s not hard to see how she will upend the economy in short order. The Senator from Massachusetts has long called for a wealth tax in the United States, and she repeated these calls in a recent interview with MSNBC.

The Massachusetts senator also wants to close what she views as “loopholes” in order to extract more taxes from wealthy individuals. Both plans are a recipe for disaster.

If Biden wins the presidency and appoints Sen. Warren as Secretary of the Treasury, there will be time before her confirmation for wealthy individuals to move their money in order to avoid paying the huge tax bill. As progressives are relying on the extra income to fund their far-left agenda, it could very well be the middle-class left holding the bag and being forced to pay high taxes to subsidize socialist government programs.

Warren’s path to Treasury Secretary is a precarious one. She has the unwavering support of progressive organizations, activists, and donors. However, she could very well face a Republican-controlled Senate that may be wary of giving her such unfettered access to her chosen position. It’s also worth noting that, to become the Secretary of the Treasury, she would need to resign her Senate seat, thus allowing a Republican Massachusetts governor to appoint a Republican to the Senate in her stead. This alone may be enough to doom her candidacy for a cabinet position.

    1. These demonrats just get dumber & dumber every minute. Anyone, I repeat anyone that supports these haters of America needs to be deported.

    1. You think thats bad, they want to put Hillary Clinton on the Supreme Court. She’s a Criminal, but it looks like a lot of them are!

  1. These socialists are hell bent on destroying the United States of America as we currently know it and turn it into a full blown socialist hell hole.Everywhere socialism has been tried,it has failed miserably.

  2. We will never kneel down to any Communist Socialist or Globalist country Democratic Party doesn’t care about Americans or America. We only kneel down to Jesus Christ Amen

  3. If he is elected, wel will have BLM, ANTIFA, COMMUNIST RADICALS IN EVERY CORNER OF THE GOVERNMENT AND THEN SOME. It’s been bad enough that too many left leaning bad actors were so embedded in the government agencies that President Trump has been fighting them for four years. But this…….oh God………This!! would be absolute disaster for everyone in this country. Some don’t know it, and they are voting for him. God help us!

    1. The reason that they don’t know about the socialist plans it’s because that they’re either blindly trusting or aren’t listening to social media network’s.

  4. That idiot can’t balance her own checkbook, I think ole Liz is crazy as they come. She is evil and corrupt the old hen has no business in any job within the government.

    1. It’s too bad this beautiful country is so messed up.My mother fled Estonia as a little girl when the Russians were taking over and machine gunning neighbors and kids working in fields. She and her parents fled to Germany and were sucked up into a concentration camp. Then the Americans came and saved the day. They were given $50,allowed 1 suitcase and came to the land of the free and home of the brave and put to work in the onion fields in Ohio. They were so happy to come to such a wonderful country. What’s happening now is a crying shame!I’m glad my parents are now dead.My father fought in WW 2.He’d be ashamed at the chaos now in America. This was a great democracy. What brought it to this low level? It wasn’t Trump. It was the pandemic, stupids!

  5. So now all the money that the federal government pays to all the American Indians living in the United States will go into the fake Indian’s pockets and not to the American Indians. For her it’s reparations. Dummycrats always find a way to become multi millionaires on a 6 figure income when they’re in Washington DC. Too bad it’s always the little guy who suffers. You know, the little guy that dummycrats always say they are looking after.

  7. I do believe if the CommieCrats Cheat and win the White House we will have an ARMED uprising to take our country back. I don’t see a Biden/Harris in the white house. if they do get in our country is GONE within 1 year.

  8. I am positive that we have slipped into an alternate dimentional time line, otherwise known as the God Damn Twilight Zone……

  9. Subject: Fw: Why is Trump not liked
Subject: Why Don’t You Like Him ?
So, you say you just don’t like him. Well, tell us — what is it about him that you dislike?

Do you dislike that he directed the brokering of the first meaningful Mideast peace deal in decades?

Do you dislike that he made cruelty to animals a felony? Or don’t you care?

Do you dislike that he earmarked billions to stop the opioid crisis?

He destroyed ISIS, killed countless terrorists without going to war (even though everyone said we’d be in World War III by now) and kept the peace. Do you dislike that?

Does it bother you that we’re now energy independent and the largest producer of energy in the world?

Do you dislike him because he started to build a wall to keep criminals and drugs from coming into our country and because he respects, honors and defends our country’s borders?

Do you dislike him because he just slashed the price for prescription drugs (In some cases by 50%) which is driving Big Pharma nuts?

Do you dislike that he met with the leader of North Korea, averted war with that country and brought a halt to their aggressive missile testing? Was that wrong?

Do you dislike that he signed a law ending the gag-order on pharmacists that prevented them from sharing money-saving options on prescriptions?

Do you dislike that he signed the Save Our Seas Act which funds millions per year to clean tons of plastic and garbage from the ocean? Does that bother you?

Do you dislike that he signed a bill for airports to provide breast-feeding stations for nursing moms?

Do you dislike that he signed the biggest wilderness protection and conservation bill in a decade designating 375,000 acres as protected land, making him the most significant conservation president since Teddy Roosevelt?

Does it irk you that he loves America, and puts Americans first? Is that the problem?

Do you dislike that he made a gay man the ambassador to Germany and then asked him to clean up national security, declassifying as much of it as possible for transparency?

Do you dislike that he works for free, donating his salary to a different charity each quarter?

Do you dislike that his economic policies have produced the lowest Black unemployment rate ever?

Do you dislike that he listened to Senator Tim Scott and created opportunity zones to help minorities?

Do you dislike that he passed prison reform, which gives people a second chance and has made quite a huge difference for minorities in particular?

Do you dislike that he produced the lowest Hispanic unemployment rate ever?

Do you dislike that he passed VA reforms to benefit the very people who served our country and defended our freedom?

Do you dislike that he got rid of the job-killing NAFTA trade deal, got tough on trade with China and negotiated new trade deals with Mexico, Canada and other countries that benefit American workers?

Do you dislike that he loves our flag and embraces a policy of unabashed, non-apologetic patriotism? Do you have a problem with that?

Do you dislike that he calls out the media and attempts to correct them when they are wrong?

Do you dislike that he’s bringing troops home and ending America’s longest war? Do you want the war to continue?

Do you dislike that he has made a commitment to end child-trafficking and crimes against humanity and his policies have brought about thousands of arrests already?

Do you dislike that he extended the offshore drilling ban along both Florida coasts as well as the coasts of Georgia and South Carolina? Are you bothered by that?

Do you dislike he’s brought home over 40 Americans held captive, the last one from Iran?

Or do you dislike that he’s making the world pay their fair share to the United Nations?

Do you dislike that he respects cops, veterans, ICE and all first responders?

Do you dislike that he does not sell out America to other countries, like the leaders prior to him have done?

Do you dislike that he’s forced our NATO allies and others to finally pay their fair share to support important multi-national alliances?

Do you dislike that he moved our embassy in Israel to Jerusalem which is the rightful capital of the Jewish state?

Do you dislike that he signed the Right To Try law allowing terminally ill patients access to experimental therapies?

This list is hardly a complete list of what President Trump has accomplished in four years.

    There’s actually more — a lot more.

But hopefully, you get the idea.

Nobody is asking you to love President Trump. Nobody is asking you to be his best friend. In fact, you don’t even have to like him.

But just take a moment to give this some mature thought and you’ll find that you’d be less than fair and honest if you did not recognize all that he’s accomplished for America — often against overwhelming odds and with powerful special interests aligned against him.

So, try to put aside emotionalism and arbitrary and capricious preferences for now, avoid the temptation to demonize the president and focus on who’s really effective; who has the vision, stamina and determination to do the job; who gets things done and who’s going to continue to solve our problems and keep America on the right track moving forward.

This isn’t a Jr. High or High School most popular student election or even the Outstanding Civics Class student. Vote the platform and direction not the personality.
